Merchant Processing Consultant

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Merchant Processing Consultant in Clearwater, FL. Key Responsibilities:
- Merchant Processing Consultant will review existing credit card transactions, payment activity, and merchant processing procedures
- Evaluate the current merchant processing setup and identify requirements for implementing customer credit card fees
- Lead the setup and implementation of credit card processing fees
- As a Merchant Processing Consultant, you will collaborate with leadership and internal teams to ensure the new fee structure is implemented effectively
- Review existing banking and payment processes to support implementation
- Work with EVO, the organization's current merchant processor, to coordinate the necessary setup and changes
- Prior experience implementing credit card fee programs or surcharge setups
- Hands-on experience with merchant processing activity and credit card payment systems
- Banking, payments, or related financial services experience preferred
- Experience working with merchant processors, ideally EVO but not required
- Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills
- Ability to independently assess existing processes and lead implementation from start to finish
