What you'll do Perform extensive die maintenance by retrimming pads and forms and engineering changes on all types of die Set up and operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machine, blanchard and surface grinder to machine parts Analyze specifications, lay out metal stock, set up and operate machine tools and fit and assemble parts to fabricate and repair metalworking dies, cutting tools, jigs and fixtures, gauges and machinist’s hand tools Study specifications such as blueprints, sketches, models or descriptions and visualize product to determine materials required and machines to be used to fabricate parts and make repairs Examine standard or previously used dies, tools, jigs and fixtures to recommend design modifications regarding construction and function of part Connect wiring and hydraulic lines to install electrical and hydraulic components This full-time role is a part of our Tooling Team and reports to the Tool Manager. $32.50 an hour, plus $1.00 shift premium. 3rd shift, which is 10pm - 6am. Required Experience Experience repairing large dies both inside presses and outside presses Journeyman card preferred – $2.00 per hour additional for Journeyman Working Conditions We’ll provide position‑specific details including physical and focused efforts, working environment and conditions, and reasonable accommodations during the interview process.
