Responsibilities Maintains the routine locker cleaning and partners with the Hygiene and Quality Assurance Manager to ensure that the unit meets the company’s industries and regulatory standards for sanitation. Works closely with the vendor(s) to order and maintain food grade chemicals within the facility. Keeps appropriate par levels of these items and work with necessary managers who also have chemical usages. Ensure MSDS are in place for all chemicals and any necessary PPE is available and trained for usage. Ensures Safety Data Sheets are current, as well as chemical supplier specifications are in place for all chemicals and any necessary PPE is available and trained for usage. Develops and maintains standard sanitation operating procedures. Verify chemical titrations with chemical suppliers. (Quantitative) and daily chemical concentration of dispensing equipment. Assists in analyzing sanitation data in order to identify trends and continual improvement opportunities. Provides support before/during customer audits, health department inspections, or any other scheduled or unscheduled audits/inspections. Implements and maintains daily sanitation schedules. Coordinates with Food Safety and Hygiene on Environmental Testing. Develops and maintains environmental testing programs. Monitors hygiene training and development of other staff directly and/or indirectly and provides coaching, direction and leadership support to staff in the form of new hire orientation, retraining, annual retraining, etc. Partners with supervisors and HR to implement corrective action as needed when hygiene protocols are not followed. Oversee all internal employee training and client training on proper sanitation protocols. Creates and implements appropriate SOPs when appropriate. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience within catering setup or Food Manufacturing Strong knowledge in (EMP) Environmental Monitoring Programs, pathogens prevention practices, root causes and effective treatments. Knowledge in HACCP, ISO, FDA, PCs preventive controls, and food safety systems Food Safety Certification, state specific if applicable SSOPs and sanitation control documents development Experience in cleaning chemicals, specifications, and SDS (Safety Data Sheets). HACCP Certificate preferred Proactive and self-organized Ability to manage through a substantial workload Capable to work independently as well as in a team environment Ability to complete assigned tasks within the given time in order to meet strict deadlines Excellent communication skills Flexibility (different shifts - night, weekends, holidays) What We Offer Salary range: $80,000 - $85,000 annually.
