This role offers the chance to work with a diverse K-12 student population in a supportive educational environment near beautiful Oceanside, CA. With a commitment of just two days per week, you’ll enjoy the flexibility to balance work and life while making a significant impact throughout the school year—from ASAP start through August 17 to May 31, 2027.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapist licensure in California
• Experience or strong interest in working with K-12 students
• Familiarity with school-based practices and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively for consulting and direct services
• Strong communication skills for teaming with students, families, and school staff
• Comfortable with conducting assessments and writing comprehensive reports

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to K-12 students, supporting their access to education
• Consult with educators and families to help develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments and testing to determine students’ therapy needs and progress
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation that align with school compliance standards
• Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings as a valued member of the educational team
• Collaborate with other specialists and contribute to a positive, student-centered environment
