AP Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a AP Specialist to join the Production Support Team within the IT Department. This team supports the purchasing, billing, and inventory of computer-related equipment, software, and services used across 700+ company locations.

This role will be responsible for accounts payable processing, purchasing, inventory management, and general administrative support for IT systems and equipment. The individual will also receive requests through the Help Desk ticketing system, process equipment orders, troubleshoot day-to-day issues, and provide customer support to internal users.

The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, organized, comfortable working with spreadsheets and financial information, and able to quickly learn new computer applications and processes.

Job Responsibilities · Process accounts payable invoices related to IT equipment, software, and services. · Receive Help Desk tickets and process equipment and purchasing requests. · Assist with purchasing and inventory management of computer-related equipment. · Perform spreadsheet analysis and maintain accurate purchasing and inventory information. · Provide administrative and customer support to internal users. · Troubleshoot and problem-solve day-to-day issues related to orders, inventory, and administrative processes. · Perform accurate and timely data entry.

Skills and Requirements

• 1-3 years of hands-on experience with accounts payable, spreadsheet analysis, customer service, and general office administration. • Strong customer service and communication skills. • Ability to quickly learn new computer applications, systems, and procedures. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Access, as well as Adobe Acrobat. • Strong data entry and typing skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. • Associate or bachelor’s degree. • 2+ years of full-time experience in a related administrative, purchasing, accounts payable, or IT support environment. • Previous experience within the retail or wholesale industry. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Access.
