Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Compliance in Columbus OH you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading tech data center location as an unarmed officer in a driving post where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine vehicle and foot patrols and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will support a professional environment with strong customer service clear communication and a team-focused approach grounded in reliability innovation and integrity.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees contractors visitors and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents alarms access concerns and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility exterior areas and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity identify unusual conditions and report security-related issues.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials and/or visitor authorization in accordance with site protocols and support access control processes for restricted or sensitive areas.
• Support day-to-day operations at a data-focused environment by observing equipment areas reporting maintenance or environmental concerns and following post orders and escalation procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
