Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team in Fresno, CA. This entry-level position is ideal for candidates eager to develop their accounting skills while supporting day-to-day financial operations. The Junior Accountant will assist with bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting under the guidance of senior staff.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
- Perform bank and account reconciliations on a regular basis
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Prepare basic financial reports and summaries
- Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Assist with audit preparation and respond to inquiries as needed

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 0-2 years of accounting experience, internships accepted
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
