Recognizes and awards outstanding performance.Identifies conflict and understands appropriate handling and escalation. Recognizes early warnings and mitigate conflict.Promotes individual responsibility and fast decision making. Understands the why behind projects and tasks, decisions made in alignment with business needs and priorities and can communicate to the team effectively.Lead cross functional projects, set goals, influence and drive the meetings. Demonstrate ability in leading continuous improvement initiatives on manufacturing lines.Works with Training department to ensure team training is up to date and effectiveness is monitored.Document, report and escalate any variances, problems, issues, or concernsEnsure procedural compliance (MPI adherence, process adherence, etc.) within area of ownershipProvide production personnel with expectations and performance feedback quarterly and during team stand-upsWrite and conduct formal annual performance reviews for production personnelEnforce strict adherence to the applicable SOPs of the Quality SystemLearn and enforce company safety policies (including PPE policy) and practices and develop safety project initiatives and line risk assessmentsLead or support various Lean Manufacturing initiatives that involve a Mfg. based teamSupport sub-assembly or process outsourcing initiativesReview and disposition discrepant material, escalating as needed once meeting agreed upon thresholdsImplement corrective actions to prevent recurrencesDrive process improvements to control material Usage / reduce scrapDrive Intuitive Culture Strategy by fostering our mission, founding principles, individual and leadership expectationsSupport corporate Quality improvement implementations and lead QA ImprovementsEnsure on-time completion of all training ISU related for associates under direct supervisionComplete Payroll activities for direct reportsWilling and ready to jump in to fill any gaps/ areas of needs as they arise in accordance with management directionQualificationsRequired Skills and ExperienceExperience in a manufacturing environment; minimum of 3 years required.Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, experience driving LSS projectsProficient in the use of personal computers to perform daily workFamiliar with the Microsoft Office suite of programs; Fluency in ExcelComfortability and experience communicating regularly using a web-based program (ZOOM or similar)Hands-on, shoulder to shoulder leader; Not afraid to get hands dirty, learn processes and execute them with team.MRP system, SAP and Agile experience or similar program required.Possesses excellent communication skills, including written and verbal instructionRequired Education and TrainingHigh school diploma or equivalentWorking ConditionsAbility to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.Preferred Skills and ExperienceBachelor's degree5+ years of supervisory experienceExperience supervising teams of 20+ technician/material handler level employeesExperience in the medical device industry (or other regulated industry) is preferredManufacturing Experience 7+ yearsLSS Green or Black Belt preferredThe ideal candidate will have a love for a fast-paced and multi-focused work environmentGo get it, can do attitudeAdditional InformationDue to the nature of our business and the role, please note that Intuitive and/or your customer(s) may require that you show current proof of vaccination against certain diseases including COVID-19.
