Job Title: Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)-Basic Job Location: Memphis, Tennessee Company Name: LifeCare Ambulance - Memphis/Mississippi Openings: Full-time - Days and/or Nights and/or Weekends Job Summary: LifeCare Ambulance - Memphis/Mississippi is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)-Basic to join our team of dedicated professionals. As an EMT, you will provide basic emergency and non-emergency paramedical care to the ill and injured, responding to emergency calls and transporting patients to medical facilities. Responsibilities: Provide basic emergency and non-emergency paramedical care to the ill and injured Respond to emergency calls, performing medical services and transporting patients to medical facilities Continue to give care as necessary during the transport of the patient to the hospital Maintain composure in extremely stressful situations and assess medical situations to perform emergency lifesaving procedures Safely transfer patients onto and lift and carry stretchers into the ambulance Requirements: Skills and experience incumbent to function with proficiency at the BLS level of service Must be 18 years of age or older High School Diploma or GED Tennessee Licensure as Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)-Basic Valid Driver’s License with an F endorsement and with a good driving record Current CPR card Consent to a criminal background check Ability to lift/push/pull at least 100+ lbs.
