Job Description We are looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager who is ready to travel to projects across the region, including Richmond, VA; Columbus, OH; Cleveland, OH; South Bend, IN; and throughout PA. Responsibilities Manage projects to ensure work is completed on schedule, within budget, and to a high level of quality and contract compliance. Produce and maintain an SOV, submit billing, approve invoices, review job costs, complete financial reports, and write purchase orders in a timely manner. Participate in monthly financial reviews detailing cash flow, billing, net financial position, change order progress, and project risks. Use estimating skills, including accurate quantity takeoff, assembly selection, assembly building, and functional use of Accubid. Conduct routine site visits to identify, document, and communicate issues related to scope changes, schedule conflicts, material shortages, manpower adjustments, quality control, and safety. Manage the Building Information Modeling (BIM) process from estimate through 3D coordination, prefabrication, site delivery, and field installation. Anticipate, identify, analyze, and resolve problems efficiently. Read and understand schedules for responsible planning and management exercises. Quantify, compile, submit, manage, and execute change orders. Execute the RFI process in a timely manner. Manage subcontractor relationships to ensure project schedule, scopes, and safety expectations are met. Conduct yearly employee performance evaluations, including goal setting and constructive feedback. Direct project closeout, punch list completion, record drawings, and demobilization. Assist in cultivating new business relationships while maintaining existing customer relationships. Participate in continuous learning, training, and skill development for the team. Communicate project information effectively to both internal and external stakeholders. Review and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and other project documents to formulate accurate management strategies. Encourage a merit‑based, competitive, and cooperative environment. Coordinate with the Safety Team to promote safe work practices. Be willing to work onsite five days a week when necessary. Attend and conduct mandatory meetings and activities. Mandatory Qualifications At least one of the following: Electrical Management experience, or Project Management / Construction experience in a multi‑trade environment working with MEP trades. Experience performing the responsibilities listed under “Responsibilities.” Capability to read and understand schedules and project documents. Proficiency in financial management, change order processes, and RFI management. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications Minimum of 2 years supervising electrical construction operations. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience. Experience managing standalone projects under $50 million or individual scopes of larger projects. Firm understanding of the modeling to fabrication workflow and the ability to communicate the model-to-fabrication-to-install process. Background in driving successful installation of complex fabricated assemblies. Experience working in a Joint Venture. Strong understanding of percentage of completion and financial reporting. Proficient with Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Accubid, and Microsoft Office Suite. We Are Offering Team environment with diverse experience and knowledge.
