Senior Data Engineer

Dynamic work schedule - This is five days on site a month in the same week then the remainder of the month is working from home. (They can fly/drive into the office as well). If your candidate is not open to this please tell them they will not be considered. Fidelity determines the week they are working onsite, not the candidate.

Must have-

• 6-10 yrs Oracle pl/sql development background
• AWS

Develop data engineering solutions to support Equity/Fixed Income Portfolio Management, Research and Reporting Products. If you have a passion for analyzing data, building innovative solutions, understanding data quality, and learning the business domain, this might be the right opportunity for you! The expertise and skills you bring:

• 6+ years of experience in developing Oracle SQL & PL/SQL solutions
• Excellent data analysis and debugging skills with a focus on identifying data quality issues
• BS in Computer Science or related degree, or equivalent experience
• Experience working on projects using Agile methodologies
• Proficiency with performance tuning in Oracle
• Experience in analyzing data, identifying gaps, issues, patterns and trends
• Solid understanding of database design concepts including Transactional and Operational Data Stores, Data mart, Data warehouse, etc.
• Exposure to AWS cloud technologies and scripting languages strongly preferred
• Knowledge and experience with Informatica, data quality tools, Python and/or Java will be a plus
• Experience with CI / CD process & tools and a passion to delivering high quality software
• Effective communication, ability to work in teams and, to learn and deliver in a fast-paced environment

We manage all Asset Management's data needs and build data platforms to help deliver innovative, scalable, industry-leading investment tools and solutions. We support a wide range of business functions including Portfolio Management, Investment Management, Research, Trading, Reporting, Investment/Business Operations and Compliance.
