Schedule: varies, but mostly mid‑day shift We are seeking a Patient Dining Services Manager to lead our 25‑member Patient Services Team in a 365‑bed (with plans for future expansion) hospital in Kansas City, MO. $2,500 sign on bonus!!! Key Responsibilities Establish goals and oversee implementation of patient food services needs based upon medical direction and patient population. Hire, direct, coach, train, and develop patient service team members. Comply with dietary restrictions on special or modified diets to ensure optimal food preferences are met within guidelines of the diet order limitations. Ensure patient services staff assists in achieving stated patient satisfaction goals. Comply with regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accrediting agencies while adhering to facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights policies. Participate in or lead patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility‑wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs. Qualifications Associate degree with one (1) year work experience in food services or related field, or bachelor’s degree in food service technology/management or related field. Certified Dietary Manager certificate, Registered Dietitian Technician or Registered Dietitian, preferred. Minimum of two years experience in food service management, preferred in an acute care or possibly higher education setting. Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft Office applications, electronic medical record, and diet office systems.
