Pharmacy Technician

Job Description

The Pharmacy Technician will support prescription fulfillment and patient service in long-term care and community pharmacy settings. Reporting to the pharmacist-in-charge, this role will process and dispense retail prescriptions, maintain accurate pharmacy records, support compliance requirements, and provide responsive customer assistance.

Responsibilities

Process and fulfill retail prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
Prepare and dispense medications under the direction of the pharmacist-in-charge.
Enter and maintain prescription and patient data accurately.
Support pharmacy compliance procedures and documentation.
Provide courteous, timely customer and patient support.
Assist with prescription workflow in long-term care and community pharmacy settings.
