You will join a multidisciplinary engineering team tasked with troubleshooting and optimizing equipment and metrology that is facilitating electrochemical development of the core EH2 product. The role will require knowledge of multiple disciplines, such as: electrical, mechanical, chemical, and controls with a focus on the electrical side.You will work onsite, and will be based in Devens, MA reporting into the Senior Electrical Field Engineer.Roles & ResponsibilitiesSupport the operations team running/troubleshooting/commissioning large scale electrolysis systems in San JoseIntegrate large-scale rectifiers into multiple large scale electrolysis systemsInvestigate the relationship between rectification and electrolysis cell performanceDevelop, and commission high voltage and low voltage electrical systems to support the balance of the plant equipmentDesign, review, document, and implement electrical changes and upgrades to tester platformsQualificationsBachelor's in Electrical Engineering1+ years of relevant experienceHands-on electrical engineering work with R&D test equipmentExperience working with SCADA systems; working with HMI equipment HMI and logging data to a historian for analysisExperience with 480 VAC systemsExperience with low voltage DC communication circuitsExperience with electrical panel design and documentationRead and interpret engineering diagrams and drawings from a variety of disciplinesExperience writing procedures and training users to operate the testersExperience with high pressure hydrogen or oxygen systemsExperience with electrochemistry such as fuel cell or electrolysis systemsExperience with controls systems such as PLC control coding experienceHands-on mechanical experience troubleshooting large fluid systemsCompensation & Benefits | P1Natick Zone$83,000 - $98,000 USDActual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and experience.Base salary is just one part of Electric Hydrogen's total rewards package.
