Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting students’ communication growth in a school-based setting near Lapeer, MI. This full-time role involves providing speech-language pathology services across four closely situated schools, with workdays spent at one site at a time—no constant back-and-forth. You’ll engage with a manageable caseload of approximately 10 students per building, serving both general education and students with mild to moderate speech or cognitive needs, including some on the autism spectrum, in a collaborative, onsite-only capacity.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license, Michigan preferred
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric speech therapy
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation
• Demonstrated ability to provide assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive speech-language services, including assessment, direct therapy, and consultation, for students with diverse needs
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, collaborating closely with educators and families
• Develop tailored intervention plans and monitor progress toward communication goals
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and federal requirements
• Foster an engaging, supportive, and inclusive learning environment in every building assigned
