City/State: Harrisonburg, VA Work Shift: Rotating Overview Sentara RMH Medical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Nursing Resource Pool. This position is full-time and will float across multiple medical surgical units. The RN will work rotating shifts: day and night, 6 weeks at a time, alternating weekends and holidays. Sign on bonus up to $15,000 with no contract required! Education Associate's Degree – Nursing Bachelor's Degree – Nursing Certification / Licensure Registered Nurse Experience Previous acute care experience preferred, but not required. Duties / Responsibilities The RN is responsible for performing competent nursing care using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN applies standards of practice and professional performance such as ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence‑based practice, quality improvement, resource utilization, and environmental health. The RN possesses clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards required by specific clinical areas.
