Certified Medication TechnicianPrimeCare Medical, Inc. (i.e., PCM) is a privately owned, physician-founded, nationally accredited correctional healthcare practice. We are actively recruiting for a Full-Time Certified Medication Technician to work in the medical department at the Washington County Detention Center in Hagerstown, MD.This full-time position is 36 hours per week. Shift would be 2 twelve-hour shifts and 2 eight-hour shifts a week, and the hours would be 11a-7p or 11a-11p.Job Responsibilities:Initial intake screening on new receptionsTaking vital signs and completing all appropriate intake formsPreparing and maintaining examination and treatment areas for the facilityPerforming daily medication passes.Maintaining medication recordsTyping of various reports, letters, and memorandaAnswering telephone and process callsMaintaining the filing system and confidentiality of information at all timesFollowing universal precautions at all timesMaintaining a pleasant working attitudeAny/all other duties and responsibilities as assigned or delegatedBenefits:PrimeCare believes in offering a competitive compensation and benefits package to all their employees! Paid time off will accrue for a maximum accrual of nine (9) days (or 72 hours) per year. You are also eligible to accrue sick and safe leave benefits under Maryland's Healthy Working Families Act (i.e., MDSSL).
