Cook Position

At Beechwood Health & Rehabilitation Center, we provide our residents with a full range of skilled nursing and rehabilitative services. We treat and support their needs in a safe, compassionate environment that fosters independence and dignity. We are currently looking to fill our dietary aide position with an individual who works to ensure residents maintain a healthy diet. The primary responsibilities include documenting patient care, advocating for patients, and educating them and their families.

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Cook to join our team and support the nutritional needs of our residents. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality meal preparation in accordance with dietary guidelines and facility standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to menus and dietary requirements
• Follow safe food-handling and sanitation procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Collaborate with nursing and dietary staff to meet resident needs
• Assist with inventory, storage, and kitchen operations

Requirements

• Previous cooking or food-service experience preferred
• Ability to follow recipes, menus, and dietary guidelines
• Strong time-management and teamwork skills
• Reliable, professional, and resident-focused
• ServSafe certification a plus (not required unless your facility mandates it)
