Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience working with students who have significant medical or physical needs
• Knowledge of adapted instruction, IEP implementation, and behavior intervention strategies
• Strong collaboration skills to partner with support staff, therapists, and families
• Ability to maintain composure and empathy in a dynamic setting

Role Expectations:

• Develop and deliver personalized instruction tailored to the unique needs of medically fragile students
• Adapt materials and strategies to meet a diverse range of learning and physical abilities
• Collaborate closely with assistants in the classroom to ensure comprehensive support and safety for all students
