Registered Nurse Telemetry

Medical Surgical / Tele Observation Registered NurseUnit has 10 beds with Tele capability on all beds. Shifts are 12 hours with a 36-hour guarantee and no cancellations. Support staff includes Tele techs, charge nurse, health unit coordinators, and patient care technicians. Nurse to patient ratios are 1:5 during the day and 1:6 at night, with 1:4 for pediatric patients based on acuity level. Nurse managers do not provide patient care but conduct rounds. Position may require floating to all medical surgical units and ICU for overflow patients.
