• Weekly Estimated Pay: $10,000 - $11,850 (competitive locum tenens pay)
• Location: Beckley, WV 25801 - Southern West Virginia / Appalachia
• Assignment Dates: June 29, 2026 - July 6, 2026
• Practice Setting: Inpatient, ER-based; cath lab and emergent PCI coverage
• Cath Labs: 2 fully equipped cath labs
• Exam Rooms: 3
• Trauma Level: Level 3
• Orientation: Preferred day before start; time varies based on familiarity with Meditec

Required Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
• Fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology
• BLS certification required (additional facility-required certifications per credentialing)
• Minimum 1 year of interventional cardiology experience (clinical cath lab/PCI experience preferred)
• Ability to obtain hospital credentialing (estimated timeframe: 10 days)
• Ability to obtain state medical license or meet WV licensure requirements for locum tenens

Key Responsibilities

• Provide STEMI call coverage and emergent PCI as needed (STEMI/CCU responsibilities)
• Consult on unassigned cardiology inpatients and manage consult-driven procedures as credentialed
• Perform diagnostic and interventional cath lab procedures consistent with privileges
• Collaborate with onsite cardiologists, a team of 7 RNs and 8 techs, ER staff, and hospital leadership
• Participate in ER-based patient care and utilize cath lab resources for timely cardiac care
• Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in accordance with hospital policies
