Faculty Positions in Transplant and Cell Therapy
Our organization is actively seeking to fill faculty roles at various ranks (Assistant, Associate, or Professor) within the Division of Transplant and Cell Therapy (TCT) and Hematological Malignancies. We invite clinical investigators who are enthusiastic about developing a patient-centered academic and clinical research program, collaborating closely with established basic and translational scientists.
Key Responsibilities- Primarily focus on clinical assignments while also engaging in the development and execution of clinical trials.
- Participate in collaborative research related to blood and marrow transplantation and cellular immunotherapy.
- Oversee residents, fellows, and mid-level providers during both outpatient and inpatient activities.
- Contribute to the advancement of novel therapies for hematological malignancies, including innovative agents, small molecule inhibitors, and immune therapies (such as CAR-T, cell-based therapies, monoclonal antibodies, vaccines, and gene therapy).
- Engage in autologous and allogeneic hematopoietic stem-cell transplantation for both malignant and non-malignant conditions.
- MD or equivalent degree.
- Completion of fellowships in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology or Immunology; TCT fellowship or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Board eligible or certified in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology or Immunology.
Our institution fosters a collaborative, mentoring, and supportive atmosphere, particularly for recent fellows and junior faculty. The work is backed by a dedicated Cancer Center Clinical Trials Unit, specialized clinic spaces, infusion centers, and a new cGMP and TCT laboratory. We also have a FACT-accredited TCT program for pediatric autologous and allogeneic BMT and immune effector cell therapy, along with a fully characterized tumor samples repository. The new state-of-the-art Children’s Hospital building, opened in 2021, is located on the Medical School campus.
Compensation and BenefitsThe starting base salary for this position ranges from $200,000 to $500,000, depending on experience and faculty rank. This figure does not include variable compensation or additional productivity incentives, which are subject to departmental compensation plans. Detailed discussions regarding compensation will occur during the recruitment process.
