Project Manager

Otis Elevator Company is searching for a highly motivated Modernization Project Manager to oversee coordination of activities on multiple modern installation projects. The Modernization Project Manager will ensure efficiency, cost containment, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Ensure flawless execution of each project by completing on schedule, within budget, and meeting all technical, safety, and regulatory requirements. Coordinate all contract activities from award to completion, providing progress reviews and ensuring contract documents align with project scope. Proactively communicate with client representatives, general contractors, owners, building managers, architects, designers, state and local authorities, and regulatory agencies regarding project design, preparation, and scheduling. Work closely with internal sales staff, superintendents, and senior leadership to achieve successful financial and customer outcomes. Handle contract writing and administration, including billing, consultant and contractor payments, RFIs, change order optimization, and project cash coverage. Interpret construction contractual documents and modifications to determine cost of changes. Analyze situations and develop contingency plans for estimates. Qualifications 3+ years of elevator industry project management and/or construction experience. Familiarity with cost estimating, scheduling, and contract administration. Ability to read and review architectural and structural drawings. Team-oriented, adaptable in dynamic settings. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Self‑motivated, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills. High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred. Additional Comments Otis Elevator does not sponsor visas for this position.
