About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a strong background in finance, accounting, and strategic leadership. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including month-end close, financial statement preparation, and analysis in compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and SEC reporting requirements. The CFO will also lead FP&A, manage cash flow, and drive capital markets activities such as IPO readiness and investor relations. A key aspect of the role is to lead M&A and divestiture activities, design and maintain strong internal controls, and implement and optimize ERP and financial systems. The ideal CFO will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred, and a professional qualification such as CPA or CFA. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' of progressive finance leadership experience, with a proven track record in a similar role. The role requires hands-on technical expertise in IFRS, US GAAP, and SEC reporting, as well as deep experience in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. The CFO will be expected to have a strong background in treasury management, working capital, and cash flow management, and experience in driving M&A activities. Advanced skills in financial systems and BI tools are essential, as is the ability to build and lead high-performing teams. The role demands a strategic thinker with high integrity, strong business acumen, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
