Our client is seeking a hands-on leader who can step into the business, strengthen day-to-day operations, improve team accountability, and help build a scalable foundation for future expansion.

The Opportunity

This is a leadership role for someone who enjoys taking ownership, building systems, and turning entrepreneurial energy into consistent execution. The business has two service lines, including window treatments and upholstery.

The owner is ready to bring in a capable operator who can help move the company from owner-driven execution to a more structured, scalable, and professionally managed business. This person will not simply advise from the sidelines. They need to be willing to get onsite, understand the workflow, coach the team, fix operational gaps, and implement the changes needed to support profitable growth.

This is an excellent fit for a practical, field-oriented business leader who can balance people leadership, customer experience, scheduling, production, profitability, and process improvement.

What You'll Be Responsible For

The General Manager / Operations Leader will be responsible for helping lead the business through its next stage of growth. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing daily operations across high end manufacturing and installation of custom curtains blinds and upholstery.
• Creating structure around scheduling, staffing, field execution, and customer communication
• Improving operational processes so the business can scale without relying entirely on the owner
• Leading, coaching, and holding team members accountable
• Helping build repeatable systems
• Helping support and sales efforts through building a team that will eventually get the ownership out of the day to day sales functions.
• Ensuring jobs are completed efficiently, professionally, and profitably
• Improving communication between sales, operations, field teams, and customers
• Identifying bottlenecks and implementing practical solutions
• Helping recruit, onboard, and develop team members as the business grows
• Tracking basic performance metrics tied to revenue, job completion, customer satisfaction, and profitability
• Serving as a trusted leadership partner to ownership

This person does not need to come from window treatments specifically, but they should understand residential service operations, field labor, seasonal demand, and customer-facing work.

• Residential services operations
• Exterior services
• Installation businesses

• Landscaping, outdoor services, or trade-related operations
• Restoration, construction services, or field-service management
• Small business operations leadership

Compensation

$100,000 - $135,000
