What You'll Do

• Evaluate and treat adult and pediatric patients (6 months and older) for urgent care needs
• Perform minor procedures such as lac repairs, ear irrigations, and other urgent care interventions
• Manage moderate to high patient volume independently
• Document patient encounters accurately in Epic EMR system after training
• Collaborate effectively with support staff and follow protocols and standing orders
• Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced setting

What You Need

• Required:
  • Active North Carolina medical license and DEA registration
  • Board-certified in family practice, urgent care, or emergency medicine (NP or PA)
  • Minimum of 12 months of relevant experience in urgent care or similar setting
  • Proficiency with Epic EMR (training provided)
  • BLS certification
• Preferred:
  • Proven soft skills for engaging with patients and team members
  • Ability to handle high-volume patient flow independently

About the Assignment
This assignment takes place at a leading urgent care center in Salisbury, NC, dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare to its community. Providers should be comfortable working independently, handling all patient ages from 6 months onward, and participating in scheduled EMR and credentialing processes. Onboarding includes training sessions on Wednesdays, which are mandatory and must be attended prior to starting solo shifts.
