Schedule: Full time, permanent
Work Details:
Support Staff: Neurodiagnostic technicians, APPs, 7 other neurologists
Patients per day: 13 EMGS/day
Department Description: Focus on treating patients with neuromuscular disorders and to focus on sub-specialty care, such as neuropathy, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), etc. May have a small component of general neurology.

Hospital Bed size: 218
Special Procedures: EMGs
Skills Required: Looking for someone who is a good team-player, eager to learn, has great communications skills, and a passion for neurology. Role also includes leadership position over our Neurodiagnostics/EMG Lab
Formal training in electrodiagnostic medicine (EDX) through residency and/or fellowship.
Demonstrated competency in performing and interpreting:
- Needle electromyography (EMG)
- Nerve conduction studies (NCS)
Ongoing continuing medical education (CME) in electrodiagnostic medicine.
Practice Setting: Hospital
Requirements:
Board Certification: Board certified or board eligible required
License Required: Active MI license required
DEA: Required
Certifications Required: BLS
Minimum Experience Required: Fellowship in Neuromuscular or Clinical Neurophysiology with EMG/neuromuscular emphasis. Completion of a Neurology or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) residency.
Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days
