Responsibilities

Here we GROW again! Our Mayo Clinic Radiology department continues to grow in innovation, education, and technology. As we continue to add the most advanced, high technology scanners to our fleet, we are looking for skilled MRI Technologists to join our team. Our MRI Technologists produce high quality images that meet the standards established by the Mayo Clinic Department of Radiology, procedural protocol, and the American College of Radiology. MRI Technologist operates the magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce quality diagnostic cross-sectional images of any part of the body for review and interpretation by a radiologist.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in ONE of the following: Radiography (R), MRI (MR) or Nuclear Medicine (N) (NMTCB) required.

• Candidates holding current ARRT (MR) only certification, two years of MRI technologist experience preferred.

• ARRT (MR) required within 18 months of hire for individuals hired with ARRT (R) or ARRT (N) Or (NMCTB) pathways.

• Technologists who hold ARRT (R ) and/or ARRT (N)(NMTCB) credentials must obtain Arizona State licensure (ADHS) for Radiology Technologist or Nuclear Medicine (CNMT), is required

• Basic Life Support Certification is required upon hire.

• Graduation from an ARRT-certified Health Science Program.

• One year technologist experience in one of the following: Radiography, MRI or Nuclear Medicine preferred.

Additional Qualifications

• Knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span, cross-sectional anatomy and completion of MRI-related courses preferred.

• The ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and appropriately interprets information. relative to the patient's age-specific needs. Technical competence with general radiographic equipment and procedures.

• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment, making decisions and directing work and patient flow to maximize operational efficiency.Strong interpersonal skills with commitment to customer service.

Full Time Schedules available:

1. Mon-Fri evening shift. 5/8's. Start between 1:30-2:30p, end between 10-11p.
2. second shift: 1:30–10:00 PM or 2:30–11:00 PM, Monday–Friday

Weekend Schedule

1. Evening shift - 1 holiday shift each year and minimal on-call overnights and weekends. Must be able to work at both Phoenix and Scottsdale campuses
