Facilities Technician

Our client, a leading organization in the facilities management industry, is seeking a Facilities Technician to join their team. As a Facilities Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the operational excellence of the organization. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Facilities Technician Location: Mechanicsburg, PA Pay Range: $18.00 Shift: 3rd shift, Monday to Friday, 8:00 PM - 4:30 AM What's the Job?- Monitor the facility to ensure safety, security, and proper maintenance standards are upheld.
- Troubleshoot issues related to power, HVAC systems, controls, and mechanical systems.
- Perform general and preventative maintenance tasks, including carpentry, plumbing, and vendor management.
- Replace lighting bulbs and ballasts as needed to maintain optimal lighting conditions.
- Assist with moving office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials as requested.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of machines, tools, and maintenance procedures.
- Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
