Instead of requiring customers to take their vehicles to a traditional repair shop, we bring professional automotive service directly to their home, workplace, or other approved location. We are building a team of skilled, dependable automotive professionals who take pride in quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced  Part-Time Mobile Auto Mechanic to perform automotive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs at customer locations. The ideal candidate is an experienced, licensed or certified automotive professional who is comfortable working independently, communicating directly with customers, and providing high-quality service in a mobile environment.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced mechanic looking for  flexible, part-time work and the opportunity to grow with a new mobile automotive service company.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and mechanical repairs at customer locations
• Diagnose mechanical and basic electrical problems
• Conduct vehicle inspections and clearly communicate recommended repairs or maintenance
• Accurately document services performed, parts used, and vehicle condition
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at customer locations
• Properly use and maintain automotive tools and diagnostic equipment
• Provide professional, courteous service and communicate clearly with customers
• Follow company safety procedures and service standards
• Arrive at scheduled appointments on time and prepared to complete assigned work

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on professional automotive repair experience
• Current automotive mechanic/technician license or recognized professional certification
• Seeking  part-time employment
• Strong knowledge of automotive maintenance, diagnostics, and repair procedures
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision
• Ability to safely use automotive tools, jacks, diagnostic equipment, and related equipment
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Professional appearance and strong customer-service skills
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Ability to perform the physical requirements associated with automotive repair work

Preferred Qualifications

• ASE certification or equivalent automotive credentials
• Experience servicing multiple vehicle makes and models
• Experience with mobile automotive repair or field service
• Experience using automotive diagnostic scanners and electrical testing equipment
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to explain vehicle issues and repair recommendations to customers in clear, understandable terms
