NICU RRT - BILH COVERSHEET

Contract guarantee hours: 72 hours biweekly on all assignments – these guaranteed hours do not include any "on-call" time worked.

Comments and notes:

• Can consider SOME peds, but must have NICU experience, NRP required.
• Rotating or all night position – 36 hours/week, every three weekend, one would rotate every three weeks, every third week.
• Delivery room experience preferred.
• Level 2 and 3 NICU/Special Care Nursery.
• Birthing hospital NICU.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Performs and interprets tests and procedures to assess and manage patient care in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other health care team members.
• Works autonomously in a variety of clinical settings to include administration of respiratory care protocols.

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CPR-AHA NRP required.
• RRT with 2+ years related work experience required.
• RC and be certified to manage artificial airways, mechanical ventilation, administer aerosolized medications and provide oxygen therapy.
• NO local travelers will be accepted (cannot reside within 50 mi from the facility).

Start date: ASAP starts, 4 weeks out for compliance.

Orientation is weekly (every Monday barring a holiday).

NM to interview and offer.

Travelers who have worked for Beth Israel Lahey Health as perm or per diem within the last six months will not be accepted – MUST be separated from facility for six months to be considered.
