Marky's NYC Part-Time Content Creator

Location: NYC-based only. Hybrid, with on-site visits one to two (1–2) times per week to Marky's NYC locations: Marky's Grand Central Market, Marky's Tribeca, Marky's Madison Ave, and Huso.

\n

Schedule: Part-time. Must be available for occasional on-site coverage of special events, product launches, and holiday activations with advance notice.

\n

\n

Reports to: Creative Strategy & Partnerships Manager 

\n

\n

Position Overview

\n

The Part-Time Content Creator films and edits short-form video content for TikTok and Instagram Reels across Marky's NYC retail locations and Huso, with supporting photo content as needed. This role brings the NYC locations to life on Marky's social channels, documenting products, in-store and dining moments, events, and seasonal activity.

\n

\n

The Content Creator reports directly to the Creative Strategy & Partnerships Manager, who sets creative direction, shot lists, and priorities. This is a hands-on role ideal for an NYC-based creator with a strong eye for food, fine dining, luxury, and lifestyle content who is comfortable working independently.

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n

In-Store Content Capture

\n

\n
• Visit Marky's NYC locations (Grand Central Market, Tribeca, Madison Ave, and Huso) one to two times per week to film short-form video content for TikTok and Instagram Reels
\n
• Film product features, caviar and gourmet presentations, plated dishes at Huso, store ambiance, staff moments, and customer-facing activity, capturing supporting photos as needed
\n
• Film content at in-store events, tastings, product launches, and holiday activations as scheduled
\n
• Follow shot lists and creative briefs provided by the Creative Strategy & Partnerships Manager, while bringing ideas for trending video formats, hooks, and audio
\n

Editing & Delivery

\n

\n
• Edit short-form video for TikTok and Instagram Reels using CapCut or similar tools, including hooks, captions, text overlays, and trending audio where appropriate
\n
• Deliver raw footage and edited videos on an agreed weekly schedule, organized in shared folders with clear file naming
\n
• Ensure all content aligns with Marky's brand standards and luxury positioning
\n

Collaboration & Communication

\n

\n
• Join regular check-ins with the Creative Strategy & Partnerships Manager to review content, plan upcoming shoots, and align on priorities
\n
• Coordinate visit times and product needs with the Miami store manager
\n
• Flag content, influencer, and community opportunities in NYC to the Creative Strategy & Partnerships Manager
\n

Qualifications

\n

\n

Required

\n

\n
• NYC-based only, with the ability to visit Marky's NYC locations, and Huso, 1-2x per week
\n
• 1-3 years of experience creating short-form video content for brands, restaurants, or hospitality businesses
\n
• A portfolio of TikTok and Instagram Reels content, ideally food, luxury, or lifestyle
\n
• Strong iPhone video skills, plus editing in CapCut or similar tools
\n
• Familiarity with TikTok and Reels trends, formats, hooks, and best practices
\n
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with remote direction
\n
• Strong communication skills and the ability to meet delivery deadlines
\n

• Experience creating content for food & beverage, gourmet retail, or luxury brands
\n
• Experience with Canva, Adobe Lightroom, or comparable editing software
\n
• Love for luxury, hospitality, retail, and/or food & beverage brands
\n
