Axis is growing fast - and we are looking for a Sales Engineer who can turn technical expertise into commercial impact. This is a remote based role, responsible for the North-West region in France. Therefore we see this person being based near the Nantes or Rennes area. Regional travels 2-3 times per week to meet customers is considered a natural and exciting part of the role. What Will You Do?
As a Sales Engineer, you'll be a key driver of business growth in the North-West region of France. You'll partner closely with top system integrators, major end customers, consultants, and our sales team to shape technical strategy, influence major deals, and position Axis as the preferred solution provider.
Your missions will be to:
- Design tailored solutions that address customer needs and maximize Axis value.
- Act as a trusted advisor, internally and externally, guiding partners and customers with confidence.
- Influence major tenders and RFP/RFQ processes, ensuring Axis is strongly positioned.
- Showcase Axis technology through high-impact presentations and demos.
- Build strategy with Key Account Managers to strengthen Axis presence at every level.
- Develop long-term relationships with technical decision makers across large corporations.
- Collaborate with global and local technology partners to stay ahead of the market.
- Understand full end-to-end solutions - networking, analytics, software, hardware, services.
- Track competitive landscapes and guide customers through the best technical choices.
- Promote pilots and proof-of-concepts to accelerate opportunities.
- Deliver official Axis Academy training and tailored education sessions in your territory.
This is a role where your technical expertise directly shapes revenue, customer loyalty, and market impact.
Who Are We Looking For?
You're a self-driven, customer-focused technical professional who thrives in a commercial environment. You know how to build trust, influence decisions, and communicate complex solutions with clarity and enthusiasm.
We'd love to hear from you if you have/are:
- A degree in computer science or engineering (preferred)
- 5+ years in a similar role within the physical security market
- Experience in pre-sales and B2B project-based work
- Strong knowledge of network technologies
- Confidence in demonstrating complex network surveillance solutions
- Experience with VMS software (a plus)
- Solid analytical, business and organizational skills
- Curiosity, creativity, and a passion for technology
- Fluent in French and professional English
