Sales Engineer

Job description: Our client is hiring a Sales Engineer in Greenville, SC to support their custom automation business. They build assembly and test systems for major automotive customers, as well as clients in the consumer and energy sectors.The Sales Engineer will drive new business in the axle segmentof the NAFTA automotive market, expanding their presence by leveraging its reputation for high-quality automation solutions.Key TasksGenerate and grow new sales within the axle and automotive automation marketPromote automation solutions to prospective customersDevelop and manage customer relationships and sales strategiesVisit customer sites to define automation concepts and opportunitiesCollaborate with technical teams to prepare proposalsAchieve annual sales targets and manage key accounts Qualifications: 5+ years of experience selling turnkey custom automation systemsAutomotive axle experienceEngineering degree preferred or equivalent experienceExperience in systems integration / automation environmentsStrong communication, presentation, and negotiation skillsProven ability to develop and close new businessStrategic, self-driven, and customer-focused mindsetWillingness to travel up to 50% (domestic & international) Why is This a Great Opportunity: High-impact role with autonomy and career growth opportunity to Sales ManagerGreat benefits package3 weeks PTO11 paid holidaysCompany carNigel
