Registered Nurse - Emergency Department - Charge Nurse

Role: Provides leadership and coordination in a clinical setting, ensuring quality patient care and effective staffing during shifts. Assigns, educates, and monitors nursing/support staff; participates in performance evaluations. Assesses patient needs, develops care assignments, and collaborates with advanced practice providers to optimize outcomes. Evaluates care effectiveness, addresses patient care complaints, and contributes to staff hiring, training, and development. Works safely and performs additional duties as assigned. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program and at least one year of RN experience. Physical & Certification Requirements: Constant communication, standing, walking, and frequent lifting (up to 25 lbs), with occasional heavier lifting and patient movement. Must hold valid BLS, RN license, and applicable advanced life support certifications based on location.
