We are seeking a reliable, organized, and motivated Medical Assistant to join our growing team. Flexible schedule between our Oceanside & Encinitas locations. Responsibilities * Welcome and room patients in a friendly and professional manner. * Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints. * Assist providers with examinations and procedures. * Prepare exam rooms and maintain cleanliness and supplies. * Schedule appointments, answer phones, and assist with patient inquiries. * Manage electronic medical records (EMR) accurately and efficiently. * Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and prescription refills. * Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations. Qualifications * Medical Assistant certification preferred (CMA, RMA, or equivalent), but experience may be considered. * Current CPR/BLS certification preferred. * Previous experience in a medical office or clinic is preferred. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. * Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. * Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude.
