As a Security Officer Armed Field Patrol in Albuquerque, NM , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a government location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support employees and visitors with professional communication and customer service. In this role, you will bring a caring, reliable approach, work with integrity, and contribute to a team focused on responsive, innovative protection.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and high-traffic locations, verifying credentials and/or access permissions in accordance with site protocols and applicable post orders.
• Support investigations of security-related concerns by preparing detailed reports, preserving relevant information, and following direction regarding evidence handling, alarms, and/or emergency notifications.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
