Job Summary The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for generating and qualifying new business opportunities for Brite. This role uses a proactive, consultative approach to identify prospective clients, understand their technology and business challenges, and introduce Brite’s managed IT, cybersecurity, and cloud solutions. Essential Functions Prospect and identify potential customers through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, networking, and marketing-generated leads. Qualify prospects by understanding their business needs, technology environment, IT challenges, and cybersecurity concerns. Schedule and coordinate discovery meetings for Account Executives and Solutions Consultants. Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities within target industries and market segments. Research prospective organizations and key decision-makers including CEOs, CFOs, CIOs, IT Directors, and Operations leaders. Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions and activities within the CRM system. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams on campaigns, lead generation initiatives, and account-based outreach strategies. Follow up promptly on inbound inquiries and marketing-qualified leads. Meet or exceed activity and opportunity generation goals, including calls, emails, meetings set, and qualified pipeline created. Stay informed on Brite’s managed services, cybersecurity offerings, cloud solutions, and industry trends. Other Duties Participates in special projects as required. Accomplishes all other duties and tasks as appropriately assigned or requested. Travel Requirements: This position may require occasional travel to customer locations, industry events, Brite offices, or other business-related meetings. Required EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience. 1+ years of sales, customer service, business development, or lead generation experience. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging prospects at all organizational levels. Ability to work independently while thriving in a team-oriented environment. Experience selling or supporting technology solutions, managed services, SaaS, cybersecurity, or cloud services. Familiarity with consultative selling methodologies. Experience using CRM and sales engagement tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Salesloft, or similar platforms.
