Job Description The gorgeous Waldorf Astoria Resort in Maui, Grand Wailea is looking for a Retail Sales Associate to join this incredible team. Located on 40 acres of lush tropical gardens, this Forbes 4‑Star property is consistently ranked among the world’s best resorts with 780 rooms, 100,000 square feet of banquet space, and 7 food and beverage outlets. Position Details Classification: Casual (2–3 days per week) Shift: Varies – 10‑hour days with a minimum of two open‑availability days Pay Rate: $19.92 per hour, based on applicable experience and location The ideal candidate will have at least six months of customer service experience and a flexible schedule to include days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Responsibilities Delight guests by greeting them upon arrival and providing friendly, efficient service to enhance the shopping experience. Drive retail sales by highlighting promotions, recommending products, and maximizing profitability. Serve as a product expert, offering guidance on merchandise, styling, and pricing. Process transactions accurately using the point‑of‑sale system, handling cash, credit/debit cards, gift certificates, and change. Package and fulfill orders, wrapping merchandise and preparing shipments. Monitor inventory, assisting with stock management and ensuring proper merchandise supply levels.
