Travel Outpatient Physical Therapist - Orthopedics & Geriatrics - $1,855 perweek

Job Description Travel Physical Therapist – 13‑week contract position in Sun City, Arizona. This Outpatient Physical Therapist will specialize in orthopedic and geriatric care, evaluating assigned patients and developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans in accordance with patients’ needs, goals, and physician direction. The therapist directs therapy services, ensuring functional treatment programs that promote patients’ return to community activities. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients. Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals focused on effective discharge within an established length of stay. Document medical records clearly, accurately, and on time, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and clinic guidelines. Provide supervision in student programs, fostering a positive learning environment and completing evaluations. Create and actively pursue a professional development plan with clinical management. Adhere to discipline‑specific state practice acts and maintain licensure in good standing. Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance quality of services. Qualifications Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. Minimum of 1 year of outpatient clinical experience. Current CPR certification. Active and applicable state license for the practice of physical therapy. Schedule & Compensation The assignment is a 13‑week contract, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour shifts, operating on a 5×8 schedule with 9–10 visits per day over 8‑hour shifts. Pay is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined. The position is open to a long‑term assignment starting ASAP.
