Job Description

Our department focuses on patient registration, revenue services, and ensuring a seamless experience for our patients while maintaining the integrity of hospital accounts receivable.

Role Overview

As a Coordinator - Patient Registration &Revenue Services, you will direct and coordinate patient registration activities, ensuring accurate scheduling, insurance verification, billing, and collections. You¿ll protect patient privacy, assist leadership with hiring and training, and maintain payer compliance. Your work is vital to supporting both patients and the revenue cycle team.

What You Will Do

• Direct and coordinate patient registration activities for prompt and accurate scheduling.
• Verify insurance eligibility and ensure payer compliance.
• Manage billing, collections, and cash posting processes.
• Assist leadership with interviewing, orienting, and training employees.
• Protect the integrity of hospital accounts receivable and patient privacy.

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Three (3) years of experience in patient admitting, registration, or insurance verification in a hospital or medical office setting.
• Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Preferred:

• Associates Degree.
• Experience as a Patient Service Representative.
