Position Overview: Happy Day Holding’s LLC® is looking for a multi-talented Shipping & Receiving Associate. The Warehouse Associate will perform the full cycle of operational duties in the Warehouse.

Other functions the Shipping and Receiving Associate’s role entails:

·       Read and understand pick tickets.

·       Pick orders with particular attention given to accuracy, speed, quality, and safety.

·       Assemble and label products in accordance with the company’s specifications.

·       Prepare shipping and receiving documents and enter information into computer system.

·       Effectively stack and store products in appropriate locations

·       Crosstrain in all tasks to include picking orders, checking, and packing, labeling, assembling posters, manifest station, cycle counts and tradeshow & displays.

·       Ability to learn inventory and tracking systems.

·       Ensure Warehouse is clean, organized, secure and safe always.

·       Receive and unload product containers.

·       And perform other job-related duties or other assigned tasks and projects as directed by supervisor.

·       Job duties may be changed or added based on department and company needs.

Requirements:

·       Must be fully vaccinated from Covid-19

·       High School Diploma or GED

·       Must be able to speak, read and write in English.

·       Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in Warehouse or Manufacturing Environment

·       Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, and calculation

·       General computer skills for basic data entry, order processing and inventory maintenance

·        Company certification to operate Warehouse equipment.

·        Ability to  lift 70 lbs (32 kgs) and to maneuver any single package weighing up to 150 lbs. (68 kgs) with appropriate equipment.

·        Ability to stand, climb and walk on a continual basis throughout shift.

·       Must be able to follow directions and work independently.

·       Punctuality and consistent work attendance

·       And perform other job-related duties or other assigned tasks and projects as directed by company management and/or supervisors.

·       Manual pallet jack

·       Sit-down Forklift

·       Reach Truck

·       Order Picker

The above job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the Warehouse Associate. The Warehouse Associate is expected to perform other duties necessary for the effective operation of the company.

As a vital part of our Warehouse operations, a safety  harness is  required by  OSHA whenever the employee is 6 feet above ground and is not protected by a guardrail or safety net. It is the employee/user’s responsibility to wear a harness properly when required. If an employee is not familiar with the proper donning and use of a personal safety harness, it is their responsibility to make that fact known to his supervisor so proper training can be completed. It is the user’s responsibility to inspect the harness prior to each use. A Safety harness will be attached to each forklift for your use.
