Clinical Psychologist – Veteran Disability Assessments

We are looking for a committed Clinical Psychologist to become a part of our team, focusing on conducting medical evaluations for U.S. Veterans as part of the disability benefits process managed by the VA. In this role, you will assess behavioral health records through a secure online portal and carry out thorough in-person evaluations for each Veteran.

• Perform in-person disability evaluations for U.S. Veterans.
• Review and interpret electronic medical records via a secure web portal.
• Document examination results accurately and complete necessary VA forms.

Note: This position does not involve providing treatment or prescribing medications. Disability decisions are made by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), not by the psychologist.

• Schedule: Full-Time, 5 days a week (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM).
• Location: Hybrid role, combining Telehealth and in-person assessments.
• Caseload: Approximately 4 Veterans per day.
• Equipment Provided: Computer and all necessary documentation tools.

• A compassionate psychologist who is passionate about assisting the Veteran community.
• Strong analytical abilities to evaluate medical records and assessment data.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in electronic documentation and web-based systems.
• A professional and empathetic approach when engaging with Veterans.

• Possession of a Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA Accredited program.
• An active and unrestricted Psychology license.
• Comfortable utilizing technology for record reviews and documentation.
