We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented 3-5 Axis CNC Milling Machinist to join our dynamic team in Richmond, VA. In this role, you will be responsible for operating advanced CNC milling machines to produce high-quality components that meet our clients' specifications. Responsibilities

Set up and operate 3-5 axis CNC milling machines according to engineering specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models.
Perform quality checks on finished products using precision measuring instruments.
Maintain and troubleshoot CNC machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with engineers and team members to improve manufacturing processes.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Document production processes and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.
Proven experience as a CNC machinist, specifically with 3-5 axis milling machines.
Strong understanding of CNC programming and G-code.
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
Familiarity with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
