Network Engineer, Wireless

Salary: $166,000 - 206,000 per year Requirements:

• We need someone who has designed and deployed enterprise campus networks end to end, including wired and wireless, from requirements definition through handoff to operations.
• We value a strong grasp of 802.11 fundamentals, including RF propagation, channel planning, and roaming behavior, along with experience running predictive and on-site RF surveys using professional survey tools.
• We need proven experience building NAC, segmentation, and guest or contractor access controls that remain effective in real-world conditions.
• Experience delivering networks in industrial, construction, or otherwise RF-challenging environments is important, especially when the environment forces design changes.
• You should be comfortable troubleshooting with packet captures and spectrum analysis and using evidence to resolve technical disagreements.
• We expect version-controlled configurations and well-documented designs to be part of your normal workflow so future sites can inherit your work smoothly.
• Bonus experience includes satellite or fixed-wireless backhaul, Wi-Fi design certifications, enterprise routing and switching automation, and operating networks alongside OT and BMS environments.

• We will have you own enterprise and wireless network design and deployment across data center campuses, offices, and labs using a single repeatable reference design with version-controlled configurations.
• You will deliver full wireless coverage in challenging white-space environments where dense liquid-cooled racks and steel create severe RF interference.
• You will run predictive and on-site RF surveys, then validate coverage after installation to ensure the design performs in the live environment.
• You will build a strong security posture for active construction campuses, including WPA3-class wireless, tight traffic segmentation, and disciplined credential and SSID management.
• You will stand up temporary construction-phase connectivity, including satellite backhaul before permanent circuits are available, and manage the transition to production networks.
• You will coordinate with data center design, deployment, IT, and security teams so network requirements are incorporated into site plans from the beginning.
