Travel Radiation Therapist - Oncology(Nights)

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist - Oncology for a 13-week travel assignment in Petoskey, MI.

Contract Details

• 40 hour guarantee - Shift times - currently Days 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM 8 with possibility of 4/10s
  
• Start Date: 6/29/2026
  
• Contract: 13 weeks
  
• Location: Petoskey, MI
  
• Hourly Pay: $ 35.70
  
• Non-taxed Stipend: $1246.00
  
• Weekly Total Pay: $2317.00
  
• Non-billable Hours: 12 hours of initial hours
  
• Traveler Policy: Anyone with a permanent address within a 35 mile radius of facility is considered a local traveler.
  

** a strict 3 strike attendance policy to advocate for their patient population. Any RN contractor who is absent from a scheduled shift or is more than 20 minutes late for their scheduled shift 3 times will be terminated effective immediately. Situations such as a communicable disease or hospitalization with supporting evidence will be reviewed in favor of the contractor. This policy will begin on 6/1/2024.

Key Responsibilities:

• Describing the treatment to patients and answering questions about the process
  
• Reviewing patient records and treatment plans to ensure radiation gets administered properly
  
• Preparing and marking the treatment site based on tumor location
  
• Calibrating, operating, maintaining and troubleshooting the linear accelerator used for radiation therapy
  
• Monitoring the patient during and after treatment and responding to side effects or unexpected reactions
  
• Updating patient records with information about radiation therapy sessions
  
• Adhering to radiation safety, infection control and patient privacy policies and regulations
  

Compensation:

• Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)
  
• Pay package details provided upon offer
  

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have 2 + years of radiation therapist experience
  
• Must have ARRT (T) certification
  
• Must have at least 1 year travel experience required OR work experience (post-graduation) with Varian and ARIA
  
• TrueBeam, ARIA, Trilogy experience preferred
  
• Must have current Active American Heart Association BLS credentials
  
• Must meet Michigan State License Requirements
  
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  
• Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
  
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  
• Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
