Manufacturing TechnicianLocation: Plymouth, MN Hours: 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM (Mon-Thu) Pay: 28.74/hrSummary:We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to provide front-line engineering and production support in a clean-room manufacturing environment.The technician will work closely with Operations and Assemblers to troubleshoot production issues, investigate scrap, monitor line performance, and provide technical coaching and support.Responsibilities:Provide production support in clean room > 90% of day, responding to escalations from Operations (i.e. scrap, process questions, equipment issues, etc.)Build SME-level knowledge of manufacturing processes, techniques, and best practices and support Operations team in coaching assemblersInvestigate scrap generated throughout the shift and understand root cause through dissection and assembler observation/discussionProvide data-driven and evidence-based feedback and coaching to assemblers on scrapPerform basic equipment troubleshooting and documentation, as requiredProactively monitor line performance and drive immediate corrections or escalationsRequirements:High school diploma or GEDBasic Microsoft Office skillsAbility to work as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environmentAbility to work with assemblers and other non-technical personnelAbility to teach and coach othersStrong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teamsAdept at handling multiple assignments in a timely manner to meet assigned deadlinesIndividual Should:Be innovative, resourceful, and work with minimal directionHave excellent organization, problem solving, communication, and collaboration skillsWork effectively with cross-functional teamsAbility to build relationships positively with people of varying personalities and culturesPossess strong judgement with a focus on qualityPreferred/Nice to Have:1-3 years of relevant experienceDirect production support (front line, day-to-day hands-on experience)Manufacturing technician or technologistPrior medical device experienceTrade school certification, specialized training/apprenticeship and/or equivalent in Electronics, Engineering Technology, or other equivalentTraining or babysitting experience nice to have as it demonstrates coaching / teaching ability
