Clinical Data Manager, VPHS Research Administration and Finance Position Information Position Title: Clinical Data Manager, VPHS ResearchAdministration and Finance Department: Health Sciences Posting Link: Job Type: Full-Time Posting Detail Information Position Summary The Clinical Data Manager (CDM) is a quantitativescientist whose focus will be providing support forinterdisciplinary collaborations within and outside the Universityas it pertains to clinical data management. In this role, you willinterface with statisticians, other scientific investigators, andexternal partners. You will also be involved in troubleshooting anyissues on behalf of the end users and maintaining datastandards. Participate in study planning and data management design Assist with study implementation as well as design of theElectronic Data Capture (EDC) systems, electronic Case Report Forms(eCRFs), and database schema Perform quality assurance and quality control tasks inaccordance with Good Clinical Data Management Practices, DataManagement Plans, and Statistical Analysis Plans Assist with data reporting and optimization of data collectionprocesses and methods Lead assigned data management and statistical projects byapplying project management skills, knowledge of data managementand clinical trial workflows, and management techniques Train and supervise Data Manager Assistants on studyprocedures, study specific handling, and management of trialdata Assist with the design and implementation of data managementprocesses and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in statistics, data science, computer science,mathematics, public health, or other related scientific fields with at least two years data management and/or related work experience,or a Bachelor's degree with 5 or more years of experience Working knowledge within areas of Good Clinical Practices andrelated regulatory requirements and terminology Experience working within a Clinical EDC system Exposure to clinical data coding classification systems Programming knowledge in SAS, with programming knowledge inPython or R being desirable Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communicationskills Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to effectively work in a team setting Salary Range $75,000 - $85,000 Is a background check required for this posting?
