About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Credit Officer to provide leadership and support for all credit department operations. The successful candidate will be a key member of the bank's leadership team, responsible for managing credit policy and performance across various credit types. This role involves leading the credit team, ensuring the quality of the lending portfolio, and conducting high-quality credit analysis. The Chief Credit Officer will also be involved in portfolio stress testing, loan growth goals, and coordinating external loan audits. Applicants for the Chief Credit Officer position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree and at least ten years of experience in financial/credit analysis and lending, with a strong background in C&I lending. Management experience is required, and a formal bank management executive school or financial industry-related degree program is preferred. The role demands the ability to create and analyze credit presentations, business correspondence, and loan policies, as well as the skill to interpret business periodicals, professional journals, and governmental regulations. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing the special assets area, maintaining relationships with the SBA, and supporting various guaranteed loan programs.
