Slotting Analyst

Drive Warehouse Efficiency Through Data, Strategy & Continuous Improvement

Are you highly analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about using data to improve operations? We're looking for a Slotting Analyst to play a critical role in optimizing warehouse performance, inventory placement, and operational efficiency.

In this position, you'll use inventory movement data, product velocity trends, and warehouse analytics to ensure products are strategically positioned for maximum productivity and service levels. You'll work closely with Operations, Inventory Control, and Warehouse Leadership to support product launches, promotions, inventory consolidations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You'll Do

✅ Analyze inventory movement and product velocity to identify fast, medium, and slow-moving products and determine optimal warehouse slotting locations.

✅ Leverage data and reporting tools to improve warehouse flow, productivity, and space utilization.

✅ Create and manage SAP Transfer Orders (TOs) to support inventory moves and maintain accurate product placement.

✅ Coordinate slotting activities for new product launches, promotions, seasonal changes, and business growth initiatives.

✅ Execute inventory consolidations and identify opportunities to maximize storage capacity and organization.

✅ Monitor warehouse performance metrics and use data-driven insights to recommend operational improvements.

✅ Partner with Operations, Inventory Control, and warehouse leadership teams to implement slotting strategies that improve efficiency and customer service.

✅ Maintain accurate slotting records and support ongoing warehouse optimization projects.

✅ Identify trends, streamline processes, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the distribution operation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations, distribution, inventory control, supply chain, or logistics environments
• SAP experience preferred
• Strong reporting, data analysis, and operational improvement experience
• Familiarity with warehouse slotting methodologies and inventory optimization strategies
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field preferred
